When a post is longer than a platform allows, Poster shortens it at a sentence or word boundary for that platform only and shows the result in the preview.
How to connect Facebook
- In Poster, open Platforms → Facebook and sign in with Facebook.
- Choose the Pages Poster may post to. You can connect as many as you manage.
- Write a post and pick the format: Post, Reels or Story.
Tips for Facebook
- A link without photos becomes a clickable card; with photos, Poster adds the link to the text so it isn't lost.
- Use one post for both Facebook and Instagram: Poster keeps the link card on Facebook and drops what Instagram can't show.
