Bluesky limits Poster follows

When a post is longer than a platform allows, Poster shortens it at a sentence or word boundary for that platform only and shows the result in the preview.

How to connect Bluesky

1. In Bluesky, open Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords and create one for Poster.
2. In Poster, open Platforms → Bluesky and enter your handle and the app password. Your main password stays with you.

Tips for Bluesky

• 300 characters go fast: Poster shortens longer posts for Bluesky and keeps the full text for networks that allow it.
• Add photo descriptions once in Poster — they go to Bluesky, Mastodon and other networks that support alt text.
