Mastodon limits Poster follows

When a post is longer than a platform allows, Poster shortens it at a sentence or word boundary for that platform only and shows the result in the preview.
How to connect Mastodon
- In Mastodon, open Preferences → Development and create an application with write access.
- In Poster, open Platforms → Mastodon, enter your server and the access token.
Tips for Mastodon
- Use hashtags — on Mastodon they're the main way people find posts.
- Describe your photos: many Mastodon users rely on alt text.
