When a post is longer than a platform allows, Poster shortens it at a sentence or word boundary for that platform only and shows the result in the preview.
How to connect LinkedIn
- In Poster, open Platforms → LinkedIn and sign in with LinkedIn.
- Write a post and schedule it — LinkedIn posts usually do best on weekday mornings in your audience's time zone.
Tips for LinkedIn
- LinkedIn doesn't build link cards for apps, so the link stays in the text — put it at the end.
- LinkedIn asks apps to sign in again every 60 days. When the sign-in expires, Poster says so plainly — sign in again in one click.
